Although the development of leading-edge technology products is a top priority, the primary goal at ETI is to provide outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer
of ETI Software Solutions, founded the company in 1992 with the mission of providing world-class operational support software and unparalleled customer service to empower telecom providers to quickly and cost-effectively launch, sell, bill and provision voice, video and data services. Pifer’s vast experience in this arena has made him an industry visionary. Before founding ETI, he was President and Chairman of EASICOM, Inc., a developer of software for automated rating and call processing. He was President of the Microwave Associates Communications division of M/ACom, Inc. of Burlington, Massachusetts. This division’s products were microwave and satellite equipment for television transmission. His principal customers were cable TV companies and broadcasters. Pifer was a member of M/ACom’s merger and acquisition team, where he helped the company grow from $50 million to $450 million in three years. Prior to M/ACom, Pifer was an executive with Scientific-Atlanta, Inc., a Cisco company engaged in providing telecom systems for industry and defense. From 1972 to 1977, he was Division Manager, Satellite Communications, and was responsible for developing and marketing satellite equipment for data, voice and television transmission. Pifer is a graduate of Ohio State University and Harvard University Business School. He is active with FTTH Council, NTCA, SCTE, APPA and other industry trade associations.
Chief Executive Officer
has over 25 years sales and management experience in the billing and operation software industry. He is responsible for managing all facets of ETI’s core software and services business unit, and is a member of the ETI Board of Directors. In his previous role as ETI’s President and COO, Frank oversaw the sales, marketing and operations divisions and helped establish ETI as an industry leader. Prior to joining ETI in 2002, he held the position of Director of Sales for the Convergys Corporation’s Cable and Broadband division. During his 13 year tenure with Convergys, his efforts helped the company grow to be a dominant force in today’s broadband billing arena. In 1987, Gine began his career with IBM, at their Fort Lauderdale Marketing Division. He is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University’s school of business, and holds a degree in both Sales and Promotion, and Marketing Research.
has been named Chief Architect in 2017 and served as CTO since 1996. He has broad experience in the design of computer software for transaction processing, telephone switching systems, and voice response equipment. He also serves as a Director of the Company. From 1992 to 1995 he provided software design for ETI products on a part-time, consulting basis. During that period, he was also responsible for the development of a PPD day billing system for Tel-Care, Inc., and was Engineering Manager for Telecorp Systems, Inc. with responsibility for that company’s interactive voice response products. From 1990 to 1992 he was Engineering Manager, UNIX Systems for Scientific Software, Inc. and was responsible for porting proprietary communications software from VOS to UNIX. From 1988 to 1990 Computer Communications Specialists, Inc., a manufacturer of interactive voice response systems with text-to-speech features, employed him as a software engineer. From 1981 to 1988 Hoyer was a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories, where he developed software for a wide variety of AT&T switches for international and domestic applications. Hoyer holds an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering (Computer Engineering) from the University of Michigan and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Michael E. Riddle
Chief Operations Officer
Michael Riddle is a Senior Telecommunications and Media & Entertainment industry executive with experience with leading telecommunications, cable television and broadband providers around the world. As ETI Software COO, he is responsible for leading the domestic and international Product Development, Engineering and Operations teams to enhance ETI’s portfolio of software products and customer support.
Riddle previously held the position of Partner and Executive Manager at IBM where he led the Global Center of Competency for Media and Entertainment practice. He also provided strategic IT planning and business transformation consulting services for global M&E and Telecommunications providers.
Prior to joining IBM, Riddle held executive CIO positions at ntl:Telewest (currently Virgin Media), United Kingdom’s leading entertainment and communications company; and at Charter Communications, Inc., the second largest cable operator in the United States. He also held positions at Cox Communications Inc., as Director Information Technology; SBC Communications (currently AT&T) in various Engineering, IT, Operations and staff management positions; Bell Communications Research (currently Ericsson) and Southwestern Bell Technology Resources (currently AT&T Labs), both as a Member of Technical Staff.
Vice President, Product Management
has nearly 20 years of experience with billing and OSS applications in the cable, telco, and municipal utility markets, specializing in service activation interfaces. Since joining ETI in 2004, Beisner has been very involved with all aspects of ETI’s Fiber-to-the-Home (‘FTTH’) and DSL interface products serving in several capacities including product manager, project manager and director of ETI’s technical services division. These different roles allowed Beisner to develop keen insights into the challenges associated with deploying an FTTH network, the know-how to transition from a manual-based provisioning approach to an automated one, and how to get the most out of an access vendor’s provisioning interface. Today, Chris is responsible for driving new and existing product development. From 1994 to 2004, Beisner was employed by CSG Systems, where he held a variety of positions including product manager, program manager, and senior project manager. While at CSG, he became a well-known subject matter expert on nearly all of CSG’s addressable interfaces. In 1997 Beisner earned the CSG Award for Excellence and received a full scholarship by the company to pursue his masters degree. Beisner holds a double undergraduate degree in speech communications and history from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Vice President, Customer Engagements
has 20 years of experience in the billing and operations industry. Since joining ETI in 2009, Dorian has been essential to the development and realization of the company’s goals. He is now responsible for ensuring successful partnerships with customers, developing business strategies and maximizing their investments. He initially joined ETI to help improve process around project and program management, including contract procurement before being promoted to Director of Operations. Prior to ETI, he held several leadership positions for the Convergys Cable and Broadband division, most notably operational and fiscal responsibility for one of the largest North American broadband providers, Cox communications. He was essential in managing customer facing initiatives and creating operational efficiencies in order to keep a check on the bottom line. Within every role, Dorian had been recognized as an effective leader and appointed as a contributor in the company’s mentor program. Dorian holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Georgia. He resides in Sandy Springs, Georgia with his wife and two kids.
Vice President, Engineering
brings extensive software development experience and leadership to ETI. Responsible for development and operations, David is building teams and processes that efficiently deliver high quality software. He is passionate about serving ETI’s customers. He began his career at Pacesetter Corporation, learning business acumen. Soon he joined RDA Systems, where he held a variety of positions over a 26-year period, including Senior Software Developer and Vice President of Research and Development. At RDA, he empowered people to succeed through intelligent application development and brings the same commitment and energy to ETI Software. David enjoys humor and finds it softens humbling learning experiences. He lost his hair at University of Missouri-Rolla now known as Missouri University of Science and Technology. He prefers to speak softly and laugh loudly, enjoying cooking, fine dining and wine with his wife.
Technical Support Director
Tim Langley brings over 20 years of broad industry experience to ETI, including program management, technical expertise and sales/business development in wireless and wireline broadband and IP network operations and network convergence. Prior to ETI, TIm held key roles in Fujitsu Network Services, Genesis Networks and MiGente Universal, where he honed his customer relationship and services skills, identifying issues and suggesting solutions to exceed expectations and drive revenue. Recognized for strong network engineering aptitude, excellent problem solving, analytical abilities, and innovation, Tim was named Technical Support Director at ETI Software in 2018.
