GVTC, the largest telephone co-op in Texas, uses Triad’s tools to audit, integrate and convert 12,000+ DSL lines to interface with Calix B6 ESANs, achieving full flow-through provisioning from billing to DSLAM port.

ATLANTA, GA – AUGUST 25, 2011 – Enhanced Telecommunications (d/b/a) ETI Software Solutions, Inc., (ETI) (www.etisoftware.superiorux.com), announced its largest Calix B6 deployment yet with Texas co-op GVTC Communications. ETI’s flagship B/OSS product, Triad, provides automated, flow-through service activation to GVTC’s DSL ports via an interface to the Calix B6 family of Ethernet Service Access Node (ESANs). The full integration to Calix systems, facilitated through ETI’s long-standing involvement in the Calix Compatible program, includes advanced auditing and reporting capabilities that give service providers like GVTC important tools necessary to manage their network and provisioning data.

“Our goal is to operate as efficiently as possible, so one of our first objectives was to audit our data,” explained George O’Neal, GVTC Vice President, Network Services, said. “Triad’s robust auditing tools allowed us to reconcile the way our DSL network was provisioned in terms of end user services with the service information in our billing system. It was very enlightening.” In addition, Triad’s host API gave GVTC the ability to import large amounts of customer-specific DSL circuit data, effectively managing the conversion process in-house.

“Being able to automatically push accurate data from the billing system to Triad all the way to the DSLAM port is the beauty of flow-through provisioning,” said O’Neal. “ETI’s ability to provide seamless, one-touch provisioning helps us maintain operational excellence as we transition from manual processes to automated ones without sacrificing customer satisfaction.”

GVTC has a reputation for innovation, from being the first co-op in Texas to offer cable TV and security system options to being the first co-op to install fiber optic lines between its central offices. Today, GVTC offers triple play services, high-definition TV, DVR, VOD, and FTTH.

“Bottom line, ETI is here to serve our customers,” said Pete Pifer, Chairman and CEO of ETI Software Solutions. “GVTC has been one of our valued customers for years and as they have grown from being a small telco to a world-class telecommunication service provider; we are proud to be a key partner. We’re also proud of the work we’ve done with Calix,“ Pifer continued. “We support almost their entire catalog of access products [Calix B-series, C-series, F-series, and E-series] in terms of integrations. Calix and ETI continue to work together to meet the needs of a variety of service providers.”
