Application Developer Program Membership Supports ETI’s Developments as Company Remains at Forefront of Mediaroom BSS/OSS Integration Projects Worldwide
ATLANTA, GA – November 10, 2009 – Enhanced Telecommunications’ (d/b/a) ETI Software Solutions, Inc., (ETI) (www.etisoftware.superiorux.com) today announced its membership in the Microsoft® Mediaroom™ Application Developer Program (ADP). This membership and ensuing relationship between the companies enables ETI to integrate and develop utilities, plug-ins and applications that work seamlessly with the Microsoft Mediaroom platform to help expand the IPTV user experience for ETI’s customers, worldwide. ETI’s Triad SDP (Service Delivery Platform) currently interfaces with Microsoft Mediaroom to facilitate subscriber management and provisioning of IPTV equipment and services, provide touch-free, flow-through account management, PPV (pay-per-view) /VOD (video-on-demand) processing, equipment tracking, and service activation.
Through the Microsoft Mediaroom ADP, ETI has acquired a Microsoft Mediaroom personal server for in-house testing and ongoing application development and integration between ETI products, Triad SDP and VideoDirect 6000, as well as Microsoft Mediaroom. For example, Triad SDP now offers on-screen Caller ID, Remote DVR Scheduler, on-screen TV Ticket (Prepaid services) entry, and Interactive Advertising and messaging – the latter integrating to ETI’s advanced VideoDirect 6000 Ad Insertion platform, currently in production at numerous telecommunications providers nationwide.
“Our membership in the Microsoft Mediaroom Application Developer Program is significant for us in that it further allows ETI to increase its leadership position,” said Peter Pifer, CEO, ETI Software Solutions. “With integrations successfully completed at some of the continent’s largest and most forward thinking communication services
providers, it’s clear that Triad SDP leads the way.”
This membership program gives ETI the Microsoft Mediaroom ADK (Application Development Kit) and the Microsoft Mediaroom personal server for the on-site, emulated Mediaroom system integration. This ADK, and the option to license and build Microsoft Mediaroom personal servers for on-site emulation, contains the interface specifications required to build support for ETI software products.
