TV Ticket and Caller ID are the first on-screen applications ETI has developed via the Minerva partnership

ATLANTA, GA – MARCH 31, 2011 – Enhanced Telecommunications (d/b/a) ETI Software Solutions, Inc., (ETI) (www.etisoftware.superiorux.com), has joined Minerva’s Application Partners Program to build enhanced on-screen applications for IPTV customers. TV Ticket, ETI’s pre-paid service solution, and On-Screen Caller ID are the first of several applications that will be available to more than 165 Minerva TV operators in North America.

“This is a win-win for our joint customers,” said Pete Pifer, Chairman and CEO of ETI Software Solutions. “With the addition of the on-screen applications to our existing Minerva interface, our customers can offer more features to enhance the experience of the subscriber.”

TV Ticket generates an authorization code for users to activate services via their electronic program guide (EPG) or remote control. Users can order a PPV or VOD event, a certain amount of PPV or VOD credit, or a month’s worth of subscription service. Because this code can be delivered via scratch-off cards, emails, via customer websites or set top boxes, TV Ticket is a valuable and flexible marketing tool. “In addition, TV Ticket prepaid video brings a turnkey financial management solution to the table for Minerva’s large customer base,” said Pifer.

The On-Screen Caller ID application facilitates the display of caller ID information by receiving caller ID messages from the telephony network, and by interfacing with the video system to push caller ID messages to the set top box (STB) for on-screen display. ETI’s product roadmap includes additional on-screen applications that support advanced telephony integration, including call-features that display directly on the TV, such as “Click to Call Back,” “Visual Voicemail,” and “Call Forward.”

“The Minerva partner program for TV applications is designed to simplify the process of developing and deploying applications, such an enhanced caller ID,” said Doug Wills, VP. “ETI does innovative work in the OSS/BSS area, and we look forward to offering ETI’s new TV ticket service to our 200+ TV operators worldwide.”
