Job Title: Senior Software Developer
The primary role of this position will be to build and maintain integrations between ETI’s Vision360 application and other 3rd party telecommunications vendor products. Vendor APIs use many protocols but the most common ones are: web services, XML, HTTP, CORBA, TL1, and SNMP. The primary purpose of these integrations is to enable flow-through service activation of voice, video and data services for end users across a variety of access technologies (copper, fiber-to-the-home, coax) and equipment installed in an end-user’s home (set tops, cable modems, etc.). As such, a strong background in telecommunications and networking is highly desirable. While the majority of the development will be done in Java, there will be interfaces with procedural application code (mostly written in C). This position will be responsible for all phases of an assigned integration project including API analysis, integration design, implementation, testing, technical documentation and training, and maintenance. This is a full-time position on the Vision360 software development team and will take direction from the Vision360 product director, ETI’s CTO, and also regularly collaborate with other team members on coding standards, design reviews, etc. Employees will be expected to work from ETI’s Norcross office during normal business hours. A professional appearance and demeanor are expected at all times.
Qualified Candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of Java programming experiencing with demonstrable expertise in object oriented development, and at least 2 years working on back-end system design, preferably in the telecommunications or networking sector. A BS in computer science or related field is also required. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in all formats. Highly desirable skills or work experience include: Java/C/C++, OOD, Linux / Unix, Web Services, XML, HTTP, TL1, SNMP, SQL, CORBA. Candidates must be self-starters that require minimal supervision and are able to deliver high quality application code on time.

Job Title: Tier 1 Technical Support Engineer
Technical Support Engineer for the company’s family of software based products. Candidate will possess a broad technical knowledge of analog, digital, IPTV services and data service provisioning. Candidate will be experienced in providing excellent customer service and problem escalation and resolution.
Primary Job Functions:
Provide Tier 1 support to end users and vendors. Provide troubleshooting and technical support via phone, web based tools and email. Advise customers regarding the product’s proper use and address specific user issues. During problem escalations, act as a liaison between customers and Tier 2 Technical Support. Candidate will assist the customer base during installations.
